Joining
the Lymphatic Filariasis Support Centre in early 2005 has provided
a radical change to Sara's career to date. Previously working in the
commercial sector her roles involved working in purchasing and finance
and she has found being in an academic environment quite different.
Sara now fulfils her role of Administrative Assistant
at the Centre, assisting with the day-to-day administration and
its many diverse activities related to the Global Alliance and Global
Programme including the development and maintenance of resource
databases and organization and attendance at meetings. Working together
with the rest of the team and students based at the Centre and overseas
she is able to contribute to all aspect of the Centre's work.
