Margaret
holds a Masters degree in Control of Infectious Disease from the
London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, where she did her
thesis on Dengue fever control in Colombia. She has also been a
guest researcher at the Centre for Disease Control, Atlanta, has
worked with Volunteer Services Overseas supporting the Vanuatu Ministry
of Health Vector Borne Disease Control program, and has worked for
the National Health Services in London as a tuberculosis control
project officer.
Margaret
would like to thank the Liverpool LFSC, GSK and DFID for making
it possible to pursue her studies.
Margaret successfully defended her thesis in January 2008. |
