Lisa joined the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine as a Junior Secretary in April 1991. After 2 years she was promoted to the post of Divisional Secretary for the Vector Biology Division.

Since its launch in 2000 the LFSC has seen dramatic growth and development and consequently, in January 2002, Lisa was appointed as the Programme Secretary, supported by a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation grant - a grant which was awarded to the Centre as one of the five partners of the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lymphatic Filariasis (GAELF).

 Lisa has most recently taken a new position within the Centre as Programme Assistant/Information Technologist, funded under the five year grant by the Department for International Development (DFID). Lisa's responsibilities include assisting the Centre's Director and Programme Coordintor in their roles and also for the maintenance of the Centre's two websites as well as the site for the GAELF.
